• Candidates not allowed to start with certs pending or are permitted to complete onsite.
  • Job Details
  • Registered Nurse position in 4W Medical Surgical / Telemetry
  • 3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a, weekdays, every other weekend, float
  • Orientation held every other week on Thursday
  • Patient ratios: 1:5, up to 6/7 to 1 in certain instances
  • 39 Beds unit dealing with cardiac, CVA surgical patients, and observation unit
  • Cardioversion TEE thoracentesis bone marrow biopsy chest tube insertion central line insertion paracentesis experience preferred but not required
  • Post Cardiac Cath Post Angiogram PTCA experience required
  • Required drips include heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, dopamine, nitro
  • Must have a working proficiency
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 Years RN Experience
    • 1 Year In-Specialty Experience
    • First-timers accepted if experience requirements met
    • WV/Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license
    • 36hrs per week guaranteed
    • RTO Restrictions: none - discuss with manager during interview
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a
      • Weekdays and every other weekend required
      • Float could be required
      • Orientation every other Thursday
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit dealing with Adult and Geriatric patients
        • Observation unit with high turnaround 36 hours or less
        • Cardiac care including Acute MI, unstable angina, CHF, unstable arrhythmias and cardiac disorders
          • Additional Details
          • Candidates cannot return as a traveler for 2 Years after last day worked perm at CAMC
          • Flu shot required unless medically exempt
          • Covid Vaccine NOT required
