• Additional certifications preferred: Cardioversion, TEE, thoracentesis, bone marrow biopsy, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, paracentesis
• Submission Requirements include license verification, skills checklist, references

  • 4W Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN
  • 3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a, weekdays, every other weekend, float
  • Orientation held every other week on Thursday
  • Ratios: 1:5, can go to 6/7 to 1 in certain circumstances
  • 36hrs guaranteed
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 Years RN Experience
    • 1 Year In-Specialty Experience
    • First-timers accepted if experience requirements met
    • WV/Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license
    • Experience with cardiac, CVA surgical patients, and observation unit preferred
    • Experience with post cardiac cath, angiogram, PTCA required
    • Required drips: heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, dopamine, nitro
    • Working proficiency required
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a
      • Weekdays, every other weekend
      • Float as needed
      • Manager cannot guarantee blocked schedule requests
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 39 Beds
        • Cardiac - Acute MI unstable angina CHF unstable arrhythmias and cardiac disorders
        • CVA surgical patients, Observation unit with high turnaround 36 hours or less
        • Half inpatient, half observation on average
        • Adult and Geriatric patient populations
          • Additional Details
          • Valid Drivers License required
          • Social Security Card required
          • Residency Declaration Form required for compact license
          • Covid Vaccine NOT required
          • Flu Shot required except for documented medical allergy
