  • 4W Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN
  • 3x12 or 4x12 Days 7a-7p, weekdays, every other weekend, float
  • Orientation held every other week on Thursday
  • Ratios: 1:5 or up to 1:6/7
  • 39 Beds. Cardiac - Acute MI unstable angina CHF unstable arrhythmias and cardiac disorders. CVA surgical patients. Observation unit with high turnaround 36 hours or less. Half inpatient half observation on average.
  • Adult and Geriatric patient populations.
  • Cardioversion TEE thoracentesis bone marrow biopsy chest tube insertion central line insertion paracentesis experience preferred but not required.
  • Post Cardiac Cath Post Angiogram PTCA experience required.
  • Required drips are heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, dopamine, nitro.
  • Must have a working proficiency.
  • RTO Restrictions: none - just discuss with manager during interview

    • 2 Years RN Experience
    • 1 Year In-Specialty Experience
    • First-timers accepted if experience requirements met
    • Flu Shot: CAMC requires flu vaccine unless documented allergy
    • COVID Vaccine NOT required

      • Days 7a-7p
      • Weekdays
      • Every other weekend
      • Float within scope if needed
        • Unit Specific Information

        • 39 Beds
        • Experience with specific procedures as listed in job details
          • Additional Details
          • Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 Years after last day worked perm
