  • Job Details
  • 5S Medical Surgical/Oncology RN
  • 29 Bed Unit. Adult Population- Medical and surgical patients battling cancer, palliative care and family education of the oncological processes. Urology and Telemetry patients included.
  • Experience Required: 2 Years
  • Ratios: 4-5:1 Patient Ratio (Days); 5-6:1 Patient Ratio (Nights)
  • Shift Info: 36 or 48hr contract options; Every other weekend required
  • Facility will consider strong candidates without Oncology exp
  • 100mi. Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)
  • 36hrs guaranteed
    • Job Requirements
    • WV/Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license
    • Certs Required: BLS, ONC Preferred
    • Skill Requirements: Telemetry; Central Line Draws, Ports, Blood Administration, PCA Pumps, Bone Marrow Aspiration Assist, Pleurx Chest Tubes. Chemotherapy Administration (preferred)
    • Submission Requirements: Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 Years after last day worked perm
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a, weekdays, every other weekend, float
      • Please limit holiday RTO requests to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Clinician can be floated within scope to meet facilities needs
        • Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests

          • Valid Drivers License is required. Candidate will not be considered without this.
          • Social Security Card required. Must be legible.
          • Please require if the candidate is working on a compact license. Driver's license must match compact state license.
