Compensation:
--- Weekly Gross: $2,625.00 Per Week
--- On W2(Taxable): $756.00 Per Week ($21/hour)
--- Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,869.00 Per Week
Position Overview:
Saint Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV, is seeking a skilled Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse to join their elite team. The hospital is offering a 13-week contract with rotating shifts, including 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, and occasional weekend shifts. This is an exciting opportunity for RNs experienced in the Operating Room setting, as the hospital provides trauma services and a variety of surgeries, including CVT, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Cataracts, ENT, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
--- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care of patients in the operating room.
--- Scrub in for surgical procedures (scrub preferred) and circulate for others (circulate required).
--- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical staff to ensure smooth surgical procedures.
--- Monitor patient conditions throughout the surgery, ensuring safety and comfort.
--- Maintain a sterile environment and follow strict infection control protocols.
--- Assist in preparing the operating room for surgery, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available.
Job Requirements:
--- WV or Compact RN License.
--- Minimum Experience: Previous experience in the Operating Room (OR) required.
--- Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support).
Skills:
--- Experience with a variety of surgeries, including Trauma, CVT, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Cataracts, ENT, etc.
--- Scrub experience and circulating experience is required.
