It is a training site for future healthcare professionals attending over twenty colleges and educational institutions in the tri-state area of southwestern WV, with a maximum capacity of 110-beds.Psych LPN Job Details:Pay Rate: $1,350 to $1,400 per weekSchedule: Variable ShiftsAvailable Shift: Rotating, 3-4 shifts per weekStart Date: Two weeks from offerLocated In: Huntington, WVRequirements: Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1 years of experience, preferably in a psych, corrections or similar setting, have a valid RN license and be willing to obtain WV and/or compact licensure.As a Licensed Practical Nurse in a state psychiatric setting, youll play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to institutionalized individuals, promoting their well-being and rehabilitation. This position works in partnership with a team of state psychiatric staff and allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients. Responsibilities include:Assessing patient health status, developing care plans, and implementing nursing interventions as neededAdministering medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocolsMonitoring patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessaryCollaborating with healthcare team members, correctional staff, and community resources to ensure continuity of careDocumenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timelyState Psychiatric positions can often offer healthcare professionals more independence in how they practice and the ability to grow professionally.
