• Certification Details
• BLS required
• ARDMS in Adult Echocardiography required
• Additional certifications in AE (adult echo) or PE (pediatric echo) would be a plus

  • BLS (AHA)
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) via ARDMS Verifications
  • MUST BE ABLE TO SCAN ADULTS AND PEDS
  • General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.)
  • Specialty Certifications: ARDMS, RCS, RDMS, RDCS, VS, RVT
  • ARDMS - AE & PE would be a plus
  • Must be able to do standard E & TEEs
  • Peds is a huge plus
  • Must have experience or skills in echocardiology
    • Schedule Information
    • Shifts & Scheduling: 7-330 (varies)
    • First study schedule may require coming in later
    • Mon. - Fri. 0700 - 1530 or 0800 - 1630
    • Call every third night and every third weekend
      • Unit Specific Information
      • Average number of studies per day: 15-20
      • EMR & PACS used: EPIC & PACS
      • Specific Equipment: Phillips
      • No Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech position
      • RN from cath lab available for starting IV's when needed
